01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
03 - Add the chicken, cheddar cheese, and green onions to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
04 - Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a heaping spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up, enclosing the filling.
05 - Arrange the filled crescents in the prepared baking dish. Pour any remaining chicken mixture around the rolls in the dish.
06 - Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top, if using.
07 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
08 - Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
