# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The honey balsamic dressing strikes that perfect balance between tangy and sweet, the kind of dressing that makes you actually want to eat your vegetables
  • Everything comes together in ten minutes flat, which means you can throw this together even when takeout feels like the only option
02 -
  • Spring mix wilts shockingly fast once dressed, so never add the dressing until you are literally ready to sit down and eat
  • The dressing needs to be whisked vigorously for at least thirty seconds to properly emulsify, otherwise it separates and the first bites get way too much oil
03 -
  • Dry your greens thoroughly, even the prewashed ones. Water on the leaves prevents the dressing from coating properly and makes the whole thing taste diluted
  • Toast your nuts in advance and store them in the freezer so you can throw this salad together without that extra step
